    The Richmond Electricians' JATC will be closed November 26 and 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.  It will back to business as usual on Monday, November 30th.

    The RJATC is taking applications through this website. Just look for the "Apply Here" tab. whether you are interested in the Inside Wireman Apprenticeship or the Construction Wireman program or both, just indicate it on the application. After applying online and once you have ALL the required documentation, call the office to schedule a time to come in to complete the application process. We are currently taking in-person applications by appointment only and only on Tuesday's and Thursday's 9am-11am, closed for lunch, then again 1pm-3:30pm.

    This course was created as a joint collaboration between the IBEW 7th District and NECA's 5th District and consists of 16 three-hour modules where Foremen and Journeymen participate in an action-learning atmosphere of teaching and discussion focused on industry "best practices.

    This apprenticeship...your apprenticeship...is looking to create a list of Instructors for part-time instruction. You must be a licensed electrician but No classroom teaching experience necessary and No degree necessary.

    Code Update Classes are temporarily being held at the Meeting Hall on Nine Mile Road from 6pm - 9pm. Holding these classes in a large room will allow for social distancing. Other precautions, as recommended by the VDH and the CDC, will be taken. Please call the Apprenticeship office at 804-752-8266 to sign up for these classes. Please see the attached amended document from the DPOR about the extension of the expiration of licenses during the state of emergency.

    Per Guideline --Work Evaluation Report (Paper) - Monthly WORK EVALUATION REPORTS shall be filed with the office of the apprenticeship no later than the SEVENTH (7TH) day of the following month. --Work Experience Reports (Online)- No later than the seventh (7TH) day of the following month you must submit an ON-LINE WORK EXPERIENCE REPORT.
