Applications: The Richmond Electricians' JATC Inside Wireman Apprenticeship is for training construction electricians for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 666 and Atlantic Coast Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association, Inc. In order to apply you must do so in person and meet the following minimum qualifications: 1. Valid Driver's License 2. Good health and physically fit for the trade 3. High School diploma or a GED (One year of Algebra is recommended or successful completion of a Tech Math course.) 4. Age-17 years of age or older.
Upon completion of the Inside Wireman Program, completers will obtain their Journeyman Electricians License.
The Construction Wireman (CW) Program gives you the opportunity to work with the same electrical contractors that our Inside Wireman Apprentices are working with. The Construction Wireman Program is strictly on-the-job training. Construction Wireman can apply for the Inside Wireman Apprenticeship Program at anytime. To apply for the Construction Wireman Program, you must do so in person at our training center. Requirements to apply: 1. Valid Driver's License 2. Resident within the Richmond region 3. Social Security Card or Birth Certificate 4. Age-17 years of age or older
