This course was created as a joint collaboration between the IBEW 7th District and NECA's 5th District and consists of 16 three-hour modules where Foremen and Journeymen participate in an action-learning atmosphere of teaching and discussion focused on industry "best practices."
The content of our current offering will follow modules 1-8 in the curriculum as listed by the Electrical Training Alliance, as follows: Role of the Foreman, The Foreman's Role in Job Safety, Project Start-Up, Labor Relations, Material Management, Manloading and Scheduling, Managing Production, Communications. Modules 9-16 will be offered at a later date.
This course will be offered only to JW’s in good standing with IBEW Local 666. The location will be at the Training Center at 11255 Air Park Road, Ashland, VA 23005. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6-9 PM, on the following dates: 4/1/20, 4/8/20, 4/15/20, 4/29/20, 5/6/20, 5/20/20, 5/27/20, and 6/3/20. The first 15 JW’s to sign up will fill this class. A waiting list will be created for future classes. There is no cost for a JW to take this class.
