Cancelled In-person Classes. Moving to Virtual
To ALL apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship classes.  Classes have been cancelled for the following days: 8/6/2020 - 8/14/2020. Starting 8/17/2020, classes will start up again in the virtual format.  We will not have normal in-person classes for the duration of the 2020 school year. Read More...

NEC Code Update Classes Resume
Code Update Classes will resume on Monday, July 20 from 6 to 9 PM at the Meeting Hall on Nine Mile Road. A second date has been set for Monday, August 17. Holding these classes in a large room will allow for social distancing. Other precautions, as recommended by the VDH and the CDC, will be taken. Please call the Apprenticeship office at 804-752-8266 to sign up for these classes. We are re-starting these classes, even though the DPOR continues to offer a waiver for renewing tradesmen licenses. ONLINE APPLICATIONS ARE BEING TAKEN
The RJATC is taking applications through our website. Just look for the "Apply Here" tab. whether you are interested in the Inside Wireman Apprenticeship or the Construction Wireman program or both, just indicate it on the application. Once you have ALL the required documentation, call the office to schedule a time to complete the application process. We are currently taking in-person applications by appointment only and only on Tuesday's and Thursday's 9-11, closed for lunch, then again 1-3:30. Read More...
